23rd October 2008 Windsurfing: Aberdyfi Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20-30 knts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: overcast / light rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Early session off Dyfi car park started off with 5.8m as the wind was around 20 knots but more was forecast for later. Had 2 hours with that setup, it was ok but a few lulls due to the incoming tide going with the wind I think. Looked like it was going to pick up so stopped to change down and with the tide still coming in went for the 5.0m which turned out to be the right choice. Wind started howling and had a good blast about for another couple of hours. Packed up just before the rain set in. Good day. |
